DIY Planetarium

Plastic liners, duct tape and a fan! We made this same DIY Planetarium in my middle school science class in 1992. It incorporated astronomy, physics, experimentation, building, teamwork, project management, storytelling, logistics, and performance all in one simple project. And it’s the only reason I can still name almost every constellation and the story behind it.
